Visiting Muizenburg Beach was one of the mostly colorful beaches I’ve been. It has the most colorful little houses literally on the beach. Definitely couldn’t miss the opportunity to run along and take a few pictures. The beach was full of surfers and has all these nice shops and cafes around it. When I visited, there was hardly anyone there except for the people in the water so it made it easier for me to relax and enjoy. Another beach I was extremely excited to visit was Boulders Beach. Boulders beach was approximately an hour and half away from the city but I thought it was worth it. I don’t know about you, but how would you like to find penguins roaming around the beach relaxing while your there too? Well, this beach has lots of them. Luckily the beach was quite vacant when I visited plus found two little penguins coming towards me. I won’t lie, at first I was quite nervous because I didn’t know what to expect but then I thought it was the best thing ever. I’ve only seen penguins at the zoo, so any type of closure without any trainer around was exciting. There is a section where the penguins are laying and relaxing but that is off limits which is understandable. Just the fact that they can go everywhere they want on the beach and you can be there with them is amazing!

La playa de Muizenburg fue una de las playas más coloridas que yo haya visitado. En la playa, hay unas casitas muy curiosas, que están pintadas de todos los colores. Definitivamente no pude perder la oportunidad de ir a tomarme unas cuantas fotos. La playa estaba llena de surfistas, además hay varias tienditas y cafés alrededor para disfrutar. Cuando yo estuve ahí no había demasiada gente, así que pude relajarme y disfrutar el dia. Otra playa que estaba emocionada por visitar es playa de Boulders. Esta playa estaba aproximadamente a una hora y media de la ciudad, pero yo creí que valía la pena visitarla. Imagínate que estás relajado y disfrutando de la playa y llegan unos pingüinos ¿Qué harías? Bueno ¡Esta playa tiene muchos de ellos! En esta ocasión también estaba casi vacía la playa y solita para mi. Al caminar hacia la orilla de la playa, había dos pingüinos caminando hacia mi, y no lo niego, estaba algo nerviosa porque no sabía cómo reaccionaría. A mi se me hizo la cosa más genial del mundo, porque solamente había visto pingüinos en el zoológico, con sus entrenadores, y nunca andando por ahí, libres. Hay una sección de la playa que es exclusivamente para los pingüinos, para que puedan relajarse. ¡El simple hecho de que ellos puedan pasearse por toda la playa y poder estar ahí con ellos es la cosa más increíble que me ha tocado!
