The Silo Hotel is the new addition to the V&A Waterfront area in Cape Town. It has everything that you would need in order to have the best stay in Cape Town. Although I was not able to reside there for my visit, I got the pleasure to dine in their rooftop bar which has amazing views and have Tea Time at the Granary Cafe. Granary Cafe has spectacular windows that have perfect views of the bay area. The tea time consists of a cute little pastry trolley with delicious desserts and your choice of tea. The chef will come out and explain each and every kind of pastry there is and recommend which tea is best suitable for the desserts. I enjoyed very much this experience since I’ve never had a tea time meal before, plus I couldn’t resist and tried them all. Additionally, at the base of this hotel, a museum was just opened this year called Zeitz MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Art Africa) which is the largest museum of contemporary African art in the world! Definitely something you should check out in your visit. I had a bit of fun getting on their spinning wheel and trying not to fall. (last picture)

El Hotel Silo es la nueva edición del area V&A Waterfront en la Ciudad del Cabo. Tiene todo lo necesario para tener una agradable estancia en la ciudad. A pesar de que no me pude hospedar en este gran hotel, tuve el placer de cenar en el bar del último piso que tiene una vista espectacular. No podía hacer falta la hora del té en Café Granary, que consiste en una torre de postres deliciosos acompañado con el té de tu preferencia. Este Café cuenta con unas ventanas inmensas e impresionantes que se convierte en la vista perfecta a la bahia. Algo especial de este lugar es que el repostero vendrá a explicar cada uno de los postres al igual que recomendar el té que sería más adecuado para los postres de tu elección. Disfrute mucho la experiencia ya que fue la primera vez que tomaba té de esta forma tan especial, mas aparte soy amante de los postres! Algo padre de este hotel es que está construido bajo un museo que fue inaugurado este ultimo año al mismo tiempo que el hotel. Zeitz MOCCA ( Museo de Arte Africana Contemporáneo ) es el museo Africano más grande de todo el mundo!, definitivamente algo que deberias de agregar a tu lista en tu viaje. Por supuesto, lo mejor fue pasearme en unos trompos gigantes y tratar de no caerme como pueden ver!
